Update: Vernon CMS 12.2 – Coastal Cormorant
We are excited to release Coastal Cormorant, version 12.2 of Vernon CMS. Coastal Cormorant introduces a reworked reporting tool to focus on using saved report templates, and a new Risk Management activity for managing risks and hazards in your collection, along with a number of minor enhancements and bug fixes.
While the update includes a range of enhancements, there are two main additions.
– Reporting Tool
Coastal Cormorant introduces a reworked version of the Reporting Tool. It has been re-designed to easily run reports from saved report templates. The Reporting Tool is now split into four sections, where you can select an existing report template, edit or create a report template, select the records for your report, and run the report.
– Risk Management
Coastal Cormorant introduces updated risk and hazard tables in the Object datafile, and a new file in the Activities module for managing risks and hazards in, and to your collection.
The object tables allow you do document in detail the risks that are posed to specific objects (for example, water damage) and/or the hazards that are present in specific objects (for example, lead or arsenic).
