We work with clients to build customised screens, reports, email templates and calculated display fields.
The main object file in Vernon CMS contains over 400 fields. We can develop custom data entry screens for any file in the system, taking standard and user defined fields and organising them into the layout that fits your needs. We have developed custom screens for specialised cataloguing such as motor vehicles, insect specimens or military personnel records.
Do you have a particular report format you need to replicate? You can set these up yourself, or we can help you build custom forms or labels.
What can you do yourself in Vernon CMS?
Although Vernon CMS is a pre-built package with standard upgrades for all sites, it is extremely flexible and can be configured to meet diverse and dynamic needs. Highly specialised collections (e.g. military equipment, military personnel records, philately, sport equipment, and textiles) can be accommodated with precision. Additional user defined fields can be added and standard field labels can be changed.
You can create and save your own report formats. You can choose your preferred layout within Vernon CMS, or export to Microsoft Word or Excel for more design control.
Do you have bulk data you need to enter offline or import into the system? We provide a standard Excel spreadsheet with columns set up for eHive. We can customise this to add additional columns to suit your data.
