The Australian Ballet’s collection consists of approximately 30 000 costumes, and scenery and props for a hundred Productions. Vernon CMS was selected as the collection management system to support the management of this collection.
Penrith Regional Art Gallery implements Vernon CMS and eHive
The Vernon Collection Management System, along with the eHive interface, was identified as an asset best suited to the Gallery’s requirements and future aims and objectives.

Survey results: Effects on organisations who publish their whole collection online
In May this year I spoke at the annual Museums Australia conference about “How to cope when you open your digital doors“. As research for the talk I sent out an online questionnaire and had follow-up discussions during with fifteen art and heritage organisations that had made the commitment to share the bulk of their collection records online.

Surf World, Gold Coast, shares their collection on eHive
Surf World is a unique museum that showcases Australia’s largest collection of Surfboards, along with related photographs, oral histories and memorabilia. Surf World are now cataloguing their collection and sharing it online through eHive.
