Online demonstration
We offer live online software demonstrations. You can see the system in action, ask question and get a feeling for the workflow.
Data analysis and migration plan
Most installations starts with data from a previous system. We analyse your data, map each field to our data structure, and outline possible problems and areas for data clean up. The outcome is a projected timeline and cost for data migration.
Customisation options
Common examples of customisation include data entry screens for specific collections. For example, botanical specimens or motor vehicles, and calculated fields to alter the presentation of data for reports.
Written quote
Our quotes itemise the costs for each module and service. With your help we will refine the quote until it matches your needs and your budget.
Licence Agreement
At this stage we enter into a formal agreement. We will supply you with a Licence Agreement to for you to sign. On receipt, we can move on to arranging the installation timetable.
Timetable agreed
On receipt of the Licence Agreement, we move into a project management phase. To make sure that expectations are clear we will agree on a timeline for data migration and training.
Data migration
The timeline will outline your data migration booking. At this time we ask you to freeze data entry in your current systems and send us your collection data. We will migrate this data into a new version of Vernon CMS.
Onsite installation and training
After the data migration and any customisation completed, Vernon CMS software is ready for installation. Our training uses your own collection data and customised to you.
Ongoing support
Included in your purchase is the first year’s Support Agreement. This provides for comprehensive support by phone or email, extensive help documentation and access to our Customer Support Portal.
Annual support agreement
You have the option of renewing the Support Agreement in subsequent years. This includes all the benefits of our extensive support along with all software upgrades.
